The seed is sown in May. The plant may be compared to grain, and blossoms blue. The seeds are used to produce linseed among other things. Subsequently they are used in different mixes and as material for decoration. Flaxseed consists of 40% unsaturated fatty acids.

After being harvested, the seed need only be cleaned. It is cleaned, removing parts of shells, foreign seeds and is then ready for packing and shipping.
