A cherry tree gives fruit after the flowering period. During the flowering period cross-pollination can occure.

The cleaned cherries are stoned and pickled in sugar syrup that gives the cherry the typical deep dark red, firm, slightly crunchy skin and very sweet taste. After this process, the cherries are slightly dried and given a treatment with dextrose.
