The peach trees blossom in spring which is also the most critical period. Harvests are generally quite large, sometimes even so large that part of the crop is thrown away. Peach trees are not very tall, enabling handpicking. After picking, the peaches are gathered in cases and transported to factories.
In the factory the peaches are washed, peeled and sorted by size mechanically. Then they are halved and stoned. Subsequently they are washed again, after which they are canned in juice. Just as for pineapples, heavy and light syrup and own juice.
